in Retail
I began my business career in the retail industry
in the 1970’s (yes, I am old).
From Market Stalls to High Street Success
I started by selling carpets and flooring on a market stall, leading on to building a well reputed retail flooring company with multiple high street shops. The business was subsequently sold after more than 30 years in 2007.

I am a founding Expert Consultant of the Work Less Earn More Academy (WLEM), and have a passion for helping business leaders and professionals break free from their corporate mindset and constraints, steering them towards time and financial autonomy. I am also a certified DreamCoach and an Asentiv Licensee (specialising in Referral Marketing).

Previously I was one of the most successful, multi award winning franchise owners in the United Kingdom & Ireland for the world’s leading professional referral organisation – BNI. I was a member of BNI from 1997 until the sale of my flooring company in 2007. Following on from there, my roles included being the Assistant National Director for BNI United Kingdom & Ireland, Executive Director for BNI Essex and BNI London East, Member of the Founders Circle, Member of the Manuals Committee, the National Directors Circle and I still have the honour of being an active part of the UK & Ireland Director Training Team.
I have produced a number of award-winning educational CDs and DVDs and now successfully transitioned into the digital world.

My interests are sports related – I enjoy football, rugby, squash, golf and going to the gym. I played soccer at junior level, for Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers and represented my county at both swimming and basketball.
